Same with other license like MIT or Unlicense.īut before you do so, just check with the authors if possible. If you got the source from somewhere else then it can be another skin or someone from their group might have shared it before hand.

So I wouldn't say anyone was at fault here. With what I had skimmed over the thread you mentioned, the OP was angry about you sharing an unfinished project, which they claimed to have started. As long as the skins are distributed under CC BY NCSA aka Creative Commons - Attribution - Non-commercial Share Alike, you can edit it and share it as long as you give the authors credit, that is attribution, and share it under CCBYNCSA license, that is share alike.
